Newschool has many who have not thrown their hats into the light quiet yet. The shadows hide one from the claws of the ones in power. Personaly I think there is just as much stradegy outside of the game then within it. Better that only those you can trust know what you truly can do.

But um... really. A competitive CoMik or an X LUCK X could still come in and win the month.

Don't forget that before the flagfest X LUCK X had well over double second place's score. (It was like 34 to 12 to 8) or something. CoMik could go from 1300 elo to 2100 in a day. No matter how you cut it, those were impressive stats/skills.

Yeah that's why he's on my list. Of all players, CoMik has(d) the ability to climb to #1. A lot of players hit the #1 elo in kdice once or twice - CoMik jumped to the #1 spot on at least 7 or 8 occassions from nowhere near the top 25. Then he would purposely tank at times, just to see if he could make the #1 spot again - and he could.

That alone was freakishly impressive.
And um, he did play a LOT =P

indeed...im march i think he went well ahead on the leaderboard then stopped playing for lent hahaha id like to see him play mroe!

Haha and in november he went well ahead on the leaderboard and was banned.

Seriously though, where'd Dan go, I miss him.

I never played with a lot of the old schoolers but i remember that das was a solid player. Monte was also good at manipulating people. Madhat_gayboy had some good skill and always seemed to place high same with meagles. Nex was a good player though he had some thing going with murti that was almost pga.
