non member table limits are like this:
0 level : max 500 100 level : max 2500 500 level : max 10,000 member table limits are like this: 0 level : max 3000 100 level : max 5000 500 level : max 12,500 explanation : If you're a member things are a bit different. They're different because the 2500 max creates a bit of a problem for members, who get 2500 at the start of the month. They would only be able to sit at 100 or 500... so for members the limits are are raised by 2500 each. Questions? Concerns? Comments? |

its helpful to new players at the 0/100 tables to be able to play with people at their skill level |

"Now the explanation is 'so they can sit on the 0 tables, cauz they are so skilled, they lose all their points on the 1st game' " I think it works both ways. Some people don't want to waste time at lower levels so they paid. Others (e.g. me), donated to donate. Not for the points. I'd just as soon not have to wait for games at the beginning of the month. There's also the slight problem that members show 0 points until they are in their first game of the month. So letting them enter 0 point games helps there, too. |

at 9:14 PM, Wednesday June 4, 2008 EDT I feel the 500 tables should be fair game. I'll use monte as an example. He has already crossed the 12,500 point threshhold, which allows him only to play the 2.5k and the 10k. It isn't always easy to get a 2.5k started, especially outside of peak playing hours. So if monte logs on at 10 or 10:30 at night right now, he probably won't get to play at all. I simply feel the 500's should be open play as well.

It makes sense although, the amount of points they get when they start may be a factor! I still find it rather odd I'm seemingly the last one left to argue that's too much. Of course, no one gives a fuck what I say or what reasoning I have to argue since I'm wrong all the damn time. Of course, this reaction is spurned by a rather terrible bad luck streak, causing me to lose all faith in this once glorious game. |
