BOMB played 1649 games in the month of April.
Since he never really played out of the 500 tables, we will assume that those games go faster. Just for argument sake... I don't agree with this point because I think ppl don't flag out of lower tables as quickly as higher tables, but whatever. So the average game takes 12 mins. 1649 * 15 = 24735 mins spent playing kdice. 24735/60 = 412.5 hours spent playing kdice. 412.5/24 = 17 days spent playing kdice. The average work week is 5 days a week with a grand total 20 days. Think about it... how many of you played games with Bomb? And how many of you are spread across different time zones. I understand your frustration with the points buying, but this was a team of people playing on account. If you need more proof, we have it. |

at 10:47 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT Dicey, I can't speak on whether or not Bomb is one or more people. However, I played 1102 games in April and I work. Luckily I own a company and get to sit in an office all day. I log on to kdice and play every chance I get during the course of my work day. I also play quite a bit when I get home. Add that to me being an insomniac and I play alot at night and into the morning hours. I do believe that one person can play as much as Bomb did. I base this on my own amount of games played.

bomb play a lot, that means he sacrifices his time to play he sacrifices his real life for kdice any problems? he deserves it by playing a lot u also can do that too it is fair by how u use your time |

Even if there was more than one person playing on bomb's account, they still needed to have SOME talent in order to win all those points... and not losing what the others won before. Besides, you can't avoid team playing anyway. What you did can be avoided. But what I'm really puzzled about: Are you that rich to throw away money like that? I mean this second place won't get you anywhere. Sure, it's nice to be that high ranked and having the feeling of recognition by others, but still... The money you spent could have invested differently and more reasonably. Don't you think so? |

at 11:51 AM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT Just so everyone knows the truth. I was on the board last night, and it was dicey who bought her way into first. Dicey bought herself ahead by thousands of points. It wasn't like Wish bought first and then dicey bought 2nd. Dicey bought first and then Wish outbid her for first putting her back at second. This whole, dicey was just keeping her place thing is bs.

at 3:24 PM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT @Kehm - Because Wish was in the process of buying points. Do you really think he would stop at buying second?
He's been buying the whole month and I have the screenshots to prove it. I wanted second and thank god I did buy it... It at least keeps the game online and I know from past months little would be done. Bomb flat out admitted that other people have been playing his account. This lifestyle angle is just a little too much. It's like the millions monkeys and typewriters theory -- if you had a million monkeys in a room with a million typewriters, one of them would bang out Romeo and Juliet. Anything is possible. But there are some things in life that are more likely and one of them is team play for Bomb. |

Didn't XCRobin (or Batman) play your account? |

at 3:34 PM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT Dicey, no offense but honestly, quit trying to save face.
so you tried to buy the month. in fact I hear people were congratulating you on first place, bomb was nowhere near 100k, why did you have to buy so much to "keep second". You didn't bid enough for first, it's just like ebay. I don't know how many times I got outbid for shit. It happens. and honestly the multiple account thing. XCRobin has your account details. You can say he didn't play as you, but again, there's no proof that he did or didn't. Just like with bombardier. |

at 3:37 PM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT Qoute from Ryan's post :
"As for bomb being played buy multiple people I can't think of any solution to this. I don't think there's any way to prevent this. Although the leagues idea is probably the best step. That idea is where different leagues of play are introduced that have different play parameters. For example, 16 dice, ELO scores, or a maximum number of games in a day. Its a cool idea but kdice needs probably 10x the population to make it useful. " |

at 4:17 PM, Thursday May 1, 2008 EDT Don't you love math! But you have to be careful when you use it. It might spot your hidden intentions as well as your arguments.
Some of your hidden assumptions: 1. Bomb\ only plays at work. His 'free' time is spent doing something else. 2. He's got no money. He did not have money to pay for a home computer and internet service. [no pun intended] 3. Average flag out. Bomb\ spent a lot of time in non promising games. |
