Only two sets of people so far have been marked as playing and winning too much with each other, and as a result can't sit with each other for the rest of the month:
Imp & Prove Berry[) & shadowman1 |

at 9:05 AM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST Ryan, per the other thread, and the comments here, if you don't want to give out all the correlation stats (still a good idea) how about a red dot on the avatar (or something equally obvious, one for each time the player has been banned from sitting with another. First, it helps id folks who just create another id to co-play with as mentioned above (if players notice a red dot player apparently co-playing again, you can do a little bud nipping) and it helps folks to decide if they want to sit with a player so identified.
It's not the pga's themselves that are such a threat to kdice as it is the bad player experiences of folks who end up sitting in those games, the more info, the better. |

You bring up a good point. I think the easiest solution if for Ryan to open up a "Fair Play" table for the few people left who still its wrong to determine games based upon Pre-existing relationships. For anyone who cheats at the "Fair Play" table they should be deleted, banned, IP blocked, etc. The rest of kDice could be run the way it always been run. |

at 10:30 AM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST lets face it wat use is it to get prevented from sitting with ur PGA then to open an alt account just so u can pga, you wud end the month with about 4 accounts and nowhere near the top 100 or 25 because all ur pga'd points are spread over 4 acounts! what ryan has done is working!
if they are creating alts they go back to zero....not in there best interests....lump is an alt of Imp but no use in prove pgaing him cause neither is gonna get many points and by the time they do they are banned again. |

i think u secretely want the pgaing to carry on just so u both have something to whine about...ryan has put a method in place and he has proof it is effectively working. |

at 10:50 AM, Wednesday February 6, 2008 EST Nomic is a game in which changing the rules is a move. In that respect it differs from almost every other game. The primary activity of Nomic is proposing changes in the rules, debating the wisdom of changing them in that way, voting on the changes, deciding what can and cannot be done afterwards, and doing it. Even this core of the game, of course, can be changed.
—Peter Suber, the creator of Nomic, The Paradox of Self-Amendment, Appendix 3, p. 362. -- I vote for doing a point recalculation in addition to the sit ban once two players reach ridiculous correlations. |

i know where u are coming from but why not let the system ryan has put in place have a shot at working before u question it. |
