You are right on the money!!! It didnt always used to be that way, people used to play for the competition of the game. The games have been trending towards social network more than a compeition. It just gets worse and worse.

Brilliant player analysis. That's your best work yet. Unfortunately people play less competitively and more socially, so those tendencies are less apparent.

The four species I described best fit the Elo period. Since then, the old species are dying out and are being replaced by new ones.

In the Elo system, a hyena was likely a 1-2 trucer. Since hyenas prey on weaker animals, the name was apt.

Your Elo-era profiles tend to have more of a dromedary shape, as did mine. A dromedary is less likely to settle for second, so will go for first (and likely end up third). The dromedary is likely becoming extinct (although Vermont and SodaPop still have dromedary-like profiles). My profile has not taken on the dromedary shape in the last two months.

We will probably have to come up with a new menagerie of critters to describe the profiles under the new rules.
