Hey guys,
I probably will not be playing the main servers this month. Why not? Well, I'm having entirely too much fun playing the test servers! The scoring is quite different, and some stuff is changed, but it's still very true to the spirit of kdice. Test server is here: http://test.gpokr.com:8081/kdice/ Things you should know: - Scoring is very different. Each turn you pay 2 points to continue playing the game. These points go into a common pot. Actually, 2 pots, one for placement and one for DOM. When you leave the game, you withdraw however many points you earned from each pot. If the number of points you put in was lower, you earn a positive score; if you put in more points than you take out, it's a negative score. - 1 share of DOM is earned for each land you own at the start of your turn - The first place player gets 6 shares of the placement pot. Second gets 5 shares, and so on. 7th gets zero shares. - Flagging has been changed to resigning. You can resign the game at any time after round 3. You instantly die, and all your lands turn grey (neutral) and stop accumulating dice. That means no flag whining, no dom raping, and no ninjas. - It's generally wise to resign when you are certain you cannot get a higher place by sitting in, because you are spending points every turn to remain in the game. the new server should be named kDice: Flag or No Flag Edition (you get to decide how many points, you know like deal or no deal) and then waste them on Amazon |

cheesewiz: between all rooms? Eiskrem-Kaiser: so you dont have to switch tables everytime you wanna get people to a table And yes, between rooms, a global chat. Either just for chatting with others that are not at the table, or for recruiting watchers from other tables to join a new game, without having to switch tables all the time If the colors are kept simple, it shouldn't look all too crowded Plus, there would have to be some flood control so people cant spam Opinions? |

he wont even fix colours for some who are colourblind or have problems making the distinctions, let alone this. |
