1. more 1500 tables and 1600 tables too
2. score is now calculated as 1/(rank+1) instead of 1/rank. This gives a bit less to 1st place.
3. flagging can't start until after round 10

ok.ryan ill spare you the honour and praise.
So here is what i say. preventing early flags is ok but.
the usual 2k game doesnt last longer 5-8 rounds.
would you please take into consideration to allow flags on 2k tables on round 7 or 8 already?
I mean sure there are a lot of cons and pros.
Just Personally i feel the 2k tables are better with a shorter nonflag period.

i guess ryan's motif for the 10 rounds flagging rule was to prevent quick-flagging, as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1at-xanEzXg

Ryan, I'll limit the honour and praise to thank you!

The flagging change will be interesting to monitor. Hopefully it will encourage people to play games out. Then again people may "away" or "suicide". Look forward to finding out at teh end of the month.

point about flagging is it screws the fine dominance rating ryan intoduced earlier pretty much over. At least it alters it to a way not known until now.

nice changes but I think Willy is right, round 8 is long enough to flag

Wow, that video. That never even occurred to me. Where do you find six other people willing to do that for hours? Also, if kdice keeps you away from the fabulous shows and gambling in Las Vegas,(Penn & Teller, anyone)you have a problem.
I like the new changes.

just a heads-up about change #3, the flagging in round 10.

my guess is that this was introduced to stop the flag fests. however, if there are indeed 6 dedicated players who are trying to throw games to one dude/dudette, then they can still do so in approximately 10 seconds longer per game. all the six have to do is click 'sit out', and let the 10 turns fly by. believe me, i have participated in this, folks.

The round 10 flag won't change anything. It'll cause people who flag early to just say "i'll flag don't worry about me".

Eventually, that will become the problem, people's willingness to flag. The only thing I see getting screwed here is people's dom if you were an early round leader but got screwed in the later rounds and now can't let the game end due to no flags.
