ryan seemed to have abandoned us. is he too busy developing other games? is he too busy entertaining advertisers? or is he too busy designing the new look for kdice?
there are lots of problems (listed below) with kdice lately…..ryan, please please take a look at them…….or at least let us know you will…..please 1. lag (it’s been ther forever) 2. failure table callback (on both kdice and gpokr) 3. failure to end turn 4. the thread bug 5. the score not registering bug 6. roll (and cards) does not seem to be random…..as others have pointed out, you pretty much have a great chance losing a 5v4 attack kdice is dying…….please help…..i love this game…… |

at 4:59 AM, Thursday September 17, 2009 EDT Agree with WieGeths. Too often the winner (and loser) is decided by your start. I don't have the solution - but it would be nice if you didn't experience every 4th game that you're destined to 5th, 6th or 7th from the beginning. But guess the randomness of this hits everyone.
- don't think kdice is "dying" though :-) |

at 5:22 AM, Thursday September 17, 2009 EDT You have starts where you know you will have to be lucky to make a move at all.
In worse cases you have starts like that where you have a couple of lucky defends and then die at a low rank with a very high luck-value. Other cases you even come back from such a start to a 3rd rank or at least positive result because you were incredibly lucky, the others were incredibly unlucky or are playing incredibly dumb. In some hardly recognized events you even are the winner before anybody moves unless you play incredibly dumb, somebody else is incredibly lucky ore you incredible lack of luck ruins the perfect start. I often complain like you do when I am on the losing side. However, when you are coldblooded, you have to admit that this is what randomness will give you. |

at 2:53 AM, Friday September 18, 2009 EDT Kam - I can't find that sentence. I only find a post stating that you have a 28.2% chance of losing 5v4. That is higher than winning the 27 million euro in this weeks lottery, I don't know if it qualifies as high though.
