Allies, Pre-Game-Allies, Remorseless Playing... So what? Shut up whining! Be liberal!

First: I think we´re all here to enjoy this wonderfull game!

After now 1 1/2 month there are different ways developed, to play and enjoy this game.

I think we have to respect everybodies way to play it - there are no rules, there´s no "ethic"-book, nothing.

So it´s on us, to play like we want.

But these discussions about "allies", "pre-game-allies" and so on are nerving...

So I don´t like these remorseless players, who take you out in the first five, six or seven rounds... Who don´t take care about the others. So if I see them again, Or I´m in he same game, I take them out also if I could.

Even I don´t like these chicken-hearted players with only one or two countries, who are attacked by a bigger player and who take out an other small player, before them go themselve...

But - they play like this, so should do it!

I don´t like it, so I don´t make it and I hope to profite in the next situation in the same way.

Then these players are coming and say - oh, protecting is not a good style. Shit! I do it, and it´s more then one time, these "tiny" players rescued my ass... So I will do it again!

So I think there are two strategies - playing with friends - making allies, and if you meet one, you will allie with him, nearly automatically. But to do this, you should play in a polite, friendly way.

The other way is to play remorseless - with this style you won´t find much friends. So you´re alone. But if you like it...

And the tables above 1700 will show that both strategies will be successfull. So what on?

Let them play how they want to do it... liberation!

I totally agree with aixo, isn't this some sort of war game, where you have to conquer as many countries as you can.. wel let's compare it to war.. say you're a general, ofcourse you'll make a pre 'game' alliance with your FRIENDS.. 'I think we have to respect everybodies way to play it - there are no rules, there´s no "ethic"-book, nothing.' - Aixo

Good point, fuzzy cat. But, since everyone is in competition against everyone else, and loved ones who play this game, then you may pre-ally with those you know against the other "strangers"
So, It's like us against the world (if we want) if I'm playing with my brother or a friend. If I played against, say, aixo, Tech, fuzzycat, funk, and GorillaMonsoon, (my brother), the only *excuse I can think of pre allying with him is that we don't know and don't care how the others feel in reality. Why am I going to go after my brother when I want him to survive over everyone else?
The only way I can clarify it is if you don't want anyone to have pre-alliances, then you and others either can't play with friends and relatives, or just see who has who for friends in their profile. Those who say in a game "lets get them again" and show themselves as a team, they are wrong. No questions. Unless they know each other personally, in either case, don't play with them because of their malicious and selfish behavior.

Snas, this is a game. not war. War isnt a game, war is horrible. You just cant compare this to the other. Unless you have to see dead bodies, people crying who lost their spouses/parents/children.

This is just a game, and has NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to do with the horrors of "war".

Like it or not it's still a wargame.

It is not, cause it has nothing to do with war.

And you cant argue anything I play this way, because war is done this way. If you think so, you are pretty brain fucked.

mmmm wargame...

Two hundred billion years ago:
"Hey South America, let's do a pre-game alliance and then I'll kill you last!"

Although vocabulary engaged is militaristic sometimes, this is NOT a war game. It's about gambling.
