Help the stupid please!!! Why does it matter if you are attacking or defending? 8 dice vs 8 dice: it must be exactly 50%?! I don't get it. Obviously.

I'm not sure about the HTML filtering of this forum, so bear with me. I've got similar numbers, but thought y'all might want to see where the numbers come from:

<a href="http://img118.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kdiceoddsis8.png"; target="_blank"><img src="http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/1439/kdiceoddsis8.th.png"; border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"; /></a>

If that doesn't work, here's the URL for the image: http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/1439/kdiceoddsis8.png

No! The defender has a little advantage because he can win with a draw. So it´s not 50:50. I hope I made it clear

nice idea... but theres a mistake in no_moniker's scheme... 6 dice att : 1 def can't be 100% for the attacker because... you know why...

You would only see that when rounding at 4 decimals.
