at 4:09 AM, Thursday September 11, 2014 EDT The account-name VagPounder69 is sexual harrassment plus has pornographic implications. It has to be banned by the new fascist interpretation and enforcement of the ancient unclear rules.
It is at least as pornographic as a smurf kissing a nipple. But, since we are dominated by frigid America (keep on banning Hemingway in your schools), a nipple is porn, bouncing boops is not. Retarded. At the end we will only have neural boring smileys and account names numbered by the creation date (where that would be unfair to the new ones). Long live dictatorship with unclear rules or no discussion as to what is porn or harrassment and what is not. |

at 8:05 AM, Thursday September 11, 2014 EDT OK, feel free to give a 100% clear description of both harassment and unacceptable avatars. You have 10 forum lines for both combined.
If you think you can draw the line between pga/otf and acceptable play in about 5 lines, have a go at that too |

at 7:15 PM, Thursday September 11, 2014 EDT I would have never thought that a picture of a nipple could be considered porn... No really sure we need to go that much further in terms of what is porn and what isn't.

at 9:57 AM, Friday September 12, 2014 EDT Jurgen - you know as well as me that this definition is not possible in either case. There has been soft lines established over years. And now all of the sudden these lines are drastically altered for no obvious or traceable reason. Hervs avatar - like it or not - has been accepted for years without much discussion. What did change in the rules? Why did it change? The unexplained change in rule-enforcement is leaving a bad taste.
Ceterum Censeo: VagPounder clearly points to sexual activities. 69 in that context is related to a well known position. In combination with an avatar of a bigchested female shaking what she's got barely covered this is either as pornographic as a smurf kissing a fake nipple or harrassment to females. I apologies if the owner of that account was born in 1969 or is aged 69 and has a name that can be abbreviated VagPounder. If there are stricter rules to be applied, all players should be subjected to them. Not just those that have been a pain in the ass on some occasions (and yes, Herv has the ability to be just that). |

at 5:37 AM, Saturday September 13, 2014 EDT I dont like Herv very much anymore but I agree with some others here (and it's not talking against the mods - it's more talking against Ryan rules in this case):
1.- its pretty funny to ban Herv's av coz of sexism after it was allowed for years. 2. - it was all but a porn av and there was nothing which can be called sexism imo. Sure - there was shown a female nipple - so what? It was a smurf sucking it, not a guy. Besides that I think Herv's av was close to Peter's av: their av put a smile in your face when you see it - but for sure none feels offended looking at these both av's. And I agree with John Milton - VagPounder's name and av are more "sexism" than Herv's - though I as a woman dont feel offended, neither by the name nor the av. All I did when I saw it the 1st time was rolling my eyes. @jurgens comment about kids playing kdice: true argument, though I'm pretty sure young boys are staring more at bouncing boobs than at a smurf sucking a nipple (my son is almost 14, so believe me I know what I'm talking about) Unbelievable thing - but in this case i have to talk for Herv. My thought: let ppl vote about ambiguous av's if you as mods aren't really sure if an av should be called out for sexism or not. Ryan should take a look at the votes though to know ppl's opinion. You could decide according to most votes, and if some single ppl still feel offended they can easily click away the av. Have a nice weekend |
