835 pages of pure spam. That's 8,350 posts of mostly porn and a few hundred posts of symbols.

I think that's the record no?

A new low for kdice.

Vermont thinks that I do not know the definition of the word "apotheosis". But he's wrong. And he thinks being obtuse is a fault. Actually it's a virtue. It's a way of letting the loser--in this case, Vermont--retreat without losing face.

Obtuse, according to merriam webster:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/obtuse

1
a : not pointed or acute : blunt
b
(1) of an angle : exceeding 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees
(2) : having an obtuse angle <an obtuse triangle> - see triangle illustration
c of a leaf : rounded at the free end
2
a : lacking sharpness or quickness of sensibility or intellect : insensitive, stupid
b : difficult to comprehend : not clear or precise in thought or expression

Hopefully it's obvious I wasn't referring to the mathematical definition in this case.

A virtue? Really?

And what exactly was I "retreating" from, skrum? I've never failed to point out what I've felt were the flaws in your arguments in the past.

However, in this case I was making more of a joke anyway, since all the primary definitions of the word involve deification or glorification, which was clearly not the case here. Hence the ';-)'

Perhaps my misquote of the classic Princess Bride line threw you off: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." (likely showing my age with that one.)

obtuse (comparative obtuser or more obtuse, superlative obtusest or most obtuse)
1.(now chiefly botany, zoology) Blunt; not sharp.
2.Intellectually dull or dim-witted.
3.Indirect or circuitous.
4.Of sound: deadened or muffled.
5.(geometry) Of an angle: greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees.
6.(geometry) Of a triangle: with one obtuse angle.

I accept your apology.

My source (the alternate definition of apotheosis)

From Wikipedia

In theology, the term apotheosis refers to the idea that an individual has been raised to godlike stature. In art, the term refers to the treatment of any subject (a figure, group, locale, motif, convention or melody) in a particularly grand or exalted manner.

note "figure"

I am assuming that you were being artistic, not theological, in your post.
