My guess is that Carroll was bitching that the officials allowed Bryant to go ahead and kick the warmup when it was a good couple seconds after multiple whistles were blown. Not sure if the refs potentially screwed that up by letting it go off so late. Dodged a massive bullet there.

Carroll was a douche in college and he's a douche now. He was definitely pissed that he got to do a practice kick and I was happy to see him pissed because fuck him, that's why. I can't stand even looking at him. I guess my hatred of USC doesn't help.

And Nod, icing the kicker works about 4% more often than not, so there's a slight statistical advantage to doing it. I think it's smarter to just let him kick it since they probably assume the TO is coming. More of a mindfuck in my opinion.
