Real answer: no, racism against anyone isn't okay, but to try to pretend that racism against black folks is even comparable to racism against whites is just ridiculous. Look at the reaction of a black man when you call him "nigger" compared to a white man when you call him "honkey" or "cracker". It isn't just because whites are more well-adjusted, it's because there are well documented histories behind the usages of both sets of words. One is a lot nastier than the other.

I really love that people come out of the woodwork on this website to defend someone saying "nigger", or to compare it to racism against white people.

That is definitely a good thing and indicative of an individual being well-educated and open-minded.

I thought it was pretty obvious that my comment re: whites deserving racism was sarcastic. I don't tolerate racism period, but it's foolish and ignorant to compare racism against whites and racism against blacks.

This conversation is obviously with respect to western countries like America and England, bringing up the fact that whites are minorities in most places in Asia and Africa is merely a meaningless sideshow.

Furthermore I would add that most whites living abroad are fairly well-off, seeing as they have the ability to leave their home countries in the first place. Rich people in general, but especially in poorer countries, are generally well insulated from the effects of poverty such as violence and racism.
