Bleacherreport is projecting FSU at #9 behind South Carolina at #8 and LSU at #6. Can I just say how bullshit that is? Yeah FSU has played a pretty weak schedule and dropped a game against a mediocre NC State team but USC was tied 7-7 going into the 4th with fucking WOFFORD. At least FSU had their 3rd stringers in by the 2nd half against their cupcakes. LSU almost lost to a pitiful Ole Miss team and has been chronically inconsistent all year. FSU is clearly a better team than both. If FSU hadn't dropped that game to NC State, they'd probably be looking at a title game appearance against what I think is a beatable ND team. If Jimbo Fisher doesn't win the ACC this year and at least win a BCS bowl game in the next two, he needs to be fired. FSU underperforming under Bowden was inexcusable but at least understandable, what with constant off-the-field issues and academically disqualified kids. Fisher underperforming at FSU isn't even understandable. The talent is there to win a national championship in the next three years. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but if an effort isn't made to stop this "oh we're going to come out flat against an unranked ACC team that we should blow out and lose in painful fashion" bullshit that seems to happen constantly under Jimbo, his ass is grass.
