Player posting personal information on others

the player JUSTcallmePRE googles peoples screen names which anyone can do, but then posts players FULL NAMES and facebook links on their reviews for other players. In my opinion this is a violation of privacy and making information that I do not want exposed on kdice available to people that I do not wish to retrieve it through kdice. I would like this player handled and his review with my information on my page removed. I will take any and all action make sure this can happen.

Hey, if you put data on face-rape and you use that account to sign in anywhere, you basically want people to know. "No privacy" is the key business idea of facebook. You use it, you get what you asked for.

If you fail to secure your data, maybe you shouldn't use a computer that's connected to some network.

I understand Thrax and I this is a nice little reality check for me. I do believe they do have some sort of responsibility to help protect players privacy when it comes to the actual kdice site. So what I am saying what someone finds by googling me is my problem to handle, but when someone is posting that personal information to my reviews for everyone to see, when someone is coming forward, they should help a player out by taking that info out and educate them on how to prevent this from accuring. I may just have to delete my account which sucks because I have worked at getting my level up the last couple months.

Feel free to e-mail Ryan at [email protected]. Good luck with a response.

And by the way, only Ryan can delete your account. Sorry again...

I e-mailed him yesterday and nothing yet. Sure it is my fault for not being careful enough to have this information concealed enough, but its ridiculous how there are some people that will justify that its ok for someone to go out of there way to expose personal information. Then you get sickos like dick drizzle and that greg guy who were the first people to comment on this forum.

You've been around KDice long enough to know that this site is full of trolls. TrollDice would be a good name change. : )

Ryan will not react - and you know that. He stopped caring for this around 2009.

It is your responsibility alone what information you put online and don't protect. You got that point right.

The web unlike most humans never forgets and archives any information it gets in many places. Once you five information away it is not under your control any more. It is nonsense to try and get it of the web again. You'll have to live with it. We all have a record of things archived in the web we might not wish to be detectable any more.

The more you make a fuzz about it, the more you'll attract people to it. Just remain silent - nobody is really interested and only very few people read reviews. Usually only the first 10 or 20 are glanced at to see if there is any significant "backstabber" or "pga" stuff to be found.

Other than that, learn your lesson and be more careful with your personal data in the futur. After all, it is your job alone to protect it.
