Because with the ongoing challenges, I think the leaderboard might get interesting over the next couple days. [: As a reminder, you need 35 games to qualify for both the ASR and the TAZD*.

Here are the current leaders!
TAZD*: Gurgi, Ttoronto, The_Phoenix
ASR: Gurgi, simmersiz, Jack Barrows
ASRm: Gurgi, Ttoronto, YuxxyB
Table Points: Gurgi, simmersiz, {A}Monkey
Ersatz Points: Gurgi, Dugong, Brighty

Questions? Just post them.

My excel spreadsheet, which displays the calculations and rankings for table and ersatz points, is viewable and downloadable here: http://bit.ly/TuJ2Up

These stats are sorted by TAZD*.

ok, I'll bite, as I can't resist

TAZD* is based on the percentages you place in first, second, etc. The better you do, the better your TAZD*.

TAZD is based on the percentages you place in first, second, etc. The better or worse you do, the better your TAZD.

Basically TAZD* rewards better play, where TAZD rewards any play outside the norm, so a really high 7th % actually helps your TAZD score, but would decimate TAZD*.

The TAZD is essentially a measure of deviation from a set of data- the zero datum- which is the average percentage profile for a group of players with 0 points. The TAZD* takes this one step further, and measures "good" deviation from this zero datum. You gain TAZD* points for having a high first place percentage and low seventh place percentage. If you'd like more mathematical details, let me know and I can tell you more. :)
