No point putting this in ideas 'cause it would never get looked at, and ryan wouldn't do fuck all.
Anyway, i got fucked over in the slam by a couple noobs who didn't know what the fuck they were doing. What do you guys think if there was a level cap on certain tournaments, or even games if they brought 10ks back. Like, you must be level 50 to join let's say the 2000 thursday, or level 50 to play this 10k map. I know it'll never happen, but what do you guys think? |

* The high stakes tourney's 'tables' would be more fun and competitive, (when they filled) * The leaderboard would be more accurate compared to actual skill. * I would be less annoyed -'s * We (who play 2k/5k regularly) would have to wait even longer to get a game started esp. 5-10k * Competing for higher trophy's: 25th to podium will be a long road for newbies or moderate players, which contains 70% of the top 25 atm. * Sandboxing the rookies to one level before they reach level 50 could only work on elo scoring imo, then have like level 20 - 30, 40 - 50 and so on. around level 60/70 they can "unlock" all the tables / tournaments" but then have the opportunity to go down a level to play with e.g friends or w/e who hasn't reached that level yet. Another alternative could be hosting a private tourney. Hardly would creating alts to play a lower table / tourney be an issue for anyone if a player already went trough that level he should be able to play it again for the sake of playing, which is the point of this game anyway. But it's a good idea, If it's done right. |
