Here's the first challenge with a cash prize. Prize will be paid via PayPal as $25 cash or as a 12 month membership (worth $30. The difference in award is different deliberately).

There will be other challenges released as time moves along, with 2 starting/released on 31 August to start on 1 September.

montecarlo suggested the following: "1) the bunched of panties of a lot of pointwhores to sacrifice their current points to get $15 worth of wayyyy more free points in the next 3 months.
2) the mad chaos of 5k tables on the last day as there could be dozens of 5k games where multiple players are knowingly tanking. (wait, do people still play 5k?)
3) the mad dash to fine-tune to 1337 while throwing your competition off from fine-tuning their score."

TANKING CHALLENGE:

* You must dump over 20,000 points on a single day (August 31) to be eligible for the prize. So effectively, you need to get to 21,338 by the time August 31 begins.

* On August 31, your goal is to drop all but precisely 1337 of your points by the time the month ends. The person to first reach 1337 points and post in this thread on August 31 and have it verified by myself or Jurgen, wins the prize. You must end the month on 1337 points. (If there's a tie, the first person to post gets it).

* If no one gets precisely 1337 points, the person who is closest to the total will win the prize as long as they've posted in the thread and and end the month on that total and dumped the minimum 20,000+ points. (If chosen by this method it'll be the person closest at midnight. If there's a tie, I'll roll a dice on random.org).

Additional Rules:
* Jurgen and I are the "judges". I don't need additional rules, if we decide you've acted against the spirit of the challenge you'll be beaten in a dark alley and disqualified from winning.
* No technicalities, the rules are really quite clear. We start from "now" effectively, get yourself to over 21,337 points so you can tank 20,000+ on August 31 and finish on 1337.

Prize will be paid on September 1 so you'll either have 12 months membership or $25.00 on that day.

(Sidenote: There's no contrib badges for this one, I'm not an Advisor and Jurgen is just assisting in keeping the challenge smooth/fair).
