I'm starting to get the league set-up again.
1) Tell me if you're in or out (14 managers from last year: monte, das, fin, jpc, hoe, verms, wish, sam, chase, thrax, shad, greek, nodice, lj) 1a) If you want into this league, then post here, and we will start a waiting list in case some other people want out. 2) Check the frontpage for keeper values for the upcoming auction draft. 3) I'll email out a link to vote on draft times, after we finalize who all the managers are. 4) This league is officially $5 now. We can vote on how split up the massive spoils later. 5) More belated congrats to fin for his rampage last year. |

chase, i'm 100% sure that espn normalizes the values at each draft to the number of teams drafting. jpc, the keepers are set-up based on espn's values so that someone doesn't get to keep cam newton for $1 for 10 years. this way, the value goes up each year. i'd guess the max number of years you keep someone is like 3. basically, it puts less emphasis on drafting well in year 1, and more emphasis on drafting well every year. gives hope to teams who sucked it up in the previous year. if yall want to do a free league, im fine with that too. i thought we voted on it last year, but i forget. im cool with w/e. |

Also keepers should be a reward but also have some cost associated with them. They do need to scale up some so there is reason to draft well still. |
