at 3:22 PM, Thursday October 18, 2012 EDT I think 2 weeks ago. Out of New York, Baltimore, Tampa Bay, Detroit, Texas, Oakland, Washington, Atlanta, Cincinnati, San Francisco, St. Louis ... general consensus would have that St. Louis and Detroit were the worst 2 teams of the group.... strange how that works

at 7:20 AM, Friday October 19, 2012 EDT Detroit got out the brooms last night.
Cano 1/18 .056 Granderson 0/11 .000 Rodriguez 1/9 .111 Texeira 3/15 .200 Swisher 3/12 .250 Total 8/65 .123 These guys got paid $85.75 million this year...gg Cashman! The Yankees batted .157 (22/140) with 36 K's and 12 walks. That's right folks, the Yankees K'd 36 times and only got on base 34 times. They scored 6 runs in the 4 game series. Their SLUGGING % was .264 which was 27 points lower than Detroit's BATTING AVG. What an all-time stinker of a choke. It couldn't have happened to a nicer team. |
