I disagree. DC failed to a) define "today's problems", b) to state why the Green Party platform fails to address them.

Let's go out on a limb and guess that DC thinks "today's problems" is "it's the economy stupid". The Green Party platform does attempt to address this (5, 6, 9, 10). DC may disagree with their analysis, but a non-troll would explain why.

>Gender equality, social justice, diversity and feminism... sounds more like a college orientation than a political platform; IMHO.

DC, how anti-libertarian of you. Gender equality seems quite libertarian. In my overtly racist view, social justice translates to "undo the damage of slavery", which again I think is quite libertarian.

BTW, Skrum - that was funny!

Social justice can't be truly social unless society agrees on what social justice is.

Sam, thanks for answering. I am not that deep in the American system (not deep at all that is) and can only reflect what you get from the news. And when I recall the "depth" of news Americans had about Europe when I was overseas, I know I don't really see anything about America...

As for "gender equivity", that's the most fascist scheme active these days. We have parts of the society with onyl 10% females in the job but are requested to have 50% of the bosses being female... I will start thinking about quota and percentages the moment we have 50% midwives on the job... Up to my knowledge there is 1 in Germany by now and he had to file a lawsuite to be alloowed to learn that job. Men and Women are not equal - face it.
