I'm simply making fun of the fact that Bush got blamed and Obama gets a pass. Typical left-wing media double-standard really.

I think Bush got blamed because he was doing a "war for oil" and people assumed that meant oil would at least be cheaper.

Also only idiots blame the president for the price of commodities like oil - gwb received justified outrage from the left because he didn't even realize gasoline was over $4.00 a gallon until a year or so after gasoline had reached these comparatively high prices (by his own admission). The outrage from the left came because of how out of touch gwb was - and if you really wanted to you could argue filling up the strategic military oil reserves and fuelling two wars during a major spending deficit and commodity high was seen as plainly irresponsible.

Although I do love to hear dispatches from the conservative bubble. I bet you think the new deal wasn't successful either -lol adorable.

How do conservatives manage the mental gymnastics in order to red herring or straw man any criticisms of their representatives anyhow?

Oil production is up since Obama took office. I don't understand how he's holding us back in terms of energy.

I'm simply stating that Obama gets a pass on everything simply because of his political party. And he's going to get re-elected, so there's no worries there. He'll get 8 full years to do his best.

By the way, how is Obamacare working out so far? How that original price tag looking?

And by the way, the left would be outraged at Bush if "accidents" like the Afghan civilians getting killed occurred on his watch. Yet again Obama doesn't even receive any flack from his own party on this.

I simply enjoy pointing out hypocrisy when I see it. I know the prez doesn't "really" affect the price of gas, even if he demolishes an opportunity for an oil line from Canada. Just simple hypocrisy Veta, nothing more.
