at 3:07 PM, Wednesday February 29, 2012 EST Obama can't afford to have the economy slip up in the next 9 months. It's not like he's in the mid-50's and can afford to lose some points.

at 4:48 PM, Wednesday February 29, 2012 EST one of the reasons bush was criticized by the left for the gas bullshit was because he simply didnt publicly acknowledge the problem - he either was in ignorance or didn't think it was important to try and get us off gas
probably because his daddy's friends were all in the oil business as far as obama goes, he's been pushing for alternative energy and decreasing gas dependence from day one (cash for clunkers), so when the right calls foul for obama not being criticized in the same way it doesn't really make sense but reality doesnt fit with the gop narrative so i doubt jesse or rob will understand this point |

at 4:50 PM, Wednesday February 29, 2012 EST let me elaborate on the bush shit before some conservative comes in and bitches
-bush said "oh wow gas is $4 now" in like 2007 -bush didnt push for alternative energy or energy efficiency, so there's your dichotomy |
