What do you do when you have beef with a mod?

Long story short, Jurgen did a dirty thing in a members tourney.
I abused him, in true THRILLHO fashion gave out a good amount of verbal diarrhea, plenty of profanity. Eventually he told me if i keep swearing, he will ban me. Fine, let's disregard the fact that on any given day kdice is filled with hate language and profanity, and just accept that excessive swearing is cause for banning. We have our arguments, I tell him I am going to pge him, I think he get's jack of arguing with me so he disappears. He comes on today and says hello - i say - go away idiot. No profanity. He tells me - keep it up and I will ban you. I asked why calling him an idiot was a bannable offence, and he cited 'annoyance' as a good enough reason to ban. So I'm at a loss. I didn't think mod power was meant to flex e-muscle in personal vendetta's. If you are going to do assholish things in game, I should be free to be impolite to him, should i not? I don't go around starting conversations with him, he speaks to me first. On top of that, the conversation typically deteriorates to me telling him that he is flexing his e-muscle, he tells me that he has crushed my ego and made me look a right fool in front of everyone, and I sit here baffled as to why he can harass me but i can't even be impolite to him? |

i empathize with thrillho here (don't get me wrong i am definitely not his friend) but i can see exactly where he is coming from. jurgen isn't really the exception though, if anything this sort of thing is the rule on kdice and ultimately why moderation suffocated the site. |

let me give mine: * I crush both thrillho's bad moves + his fragile ego in a game -> he declares a pge he is free to pge me and note how he admits he was abusing me * I see him doing his usual swearing and abusing stuff in the next tournament I see him play. I don't think I need to explain ho's reputation here, we all know how he is. When I checked his comments, I actually couldn't believe why he had never been banned or warned before. These are a few random remarks I copied: THRILLHO: you crippled me with your fucking full retard shit THRILLHO: dumb CUNT THRILLHO: i don't expect anything less from a dumb cunt like you I didn't bother to copy them all at first so I warn the guy with 400+ bad reviews that he will get -chat if he keeps that tone up He can pge me but where does it say that I can not mod people who pge me or are total jerks to me? So when I have an argument with someone, I can't mod him anymore because I would be biassed? Yeah right, every cheater can come have a game with me , insult me a bit and claim immunity. Nice try, Thrillho remains warned for chat abuse and I will send my chatlogs to another moderator if I think he has been too abusive to someone. |

After all of that, you came and spectated a table i was at, said hello to me, i said go away idiot (as i had been warned not to swear at you) - and then you told me if i keep it up i would be banned. It's that part which i believe is outside the bounds of moderator power. Threatening to ban people for being impolite to you basically. Lumentum was there, you don't deny it, you just keep ignoring the point. |
