Yodel; your recollection of the RP interview is inaccurate. Here is the uncut footage. Let me know if you still think he avoided the question. He answered it many times during the interview and then the interview was simply just over. He didn't run off the set; the interviewer didn't respond as if he did; and he even continued to talk with her while he was being de-microphoned (all of which is able to be heard on this unedited version).

RP didn't walk off the set during the interview. What you heard was propaganda.

She even thanked him for answering the questions while he was taking off his microphone. All of it is on tape here:

Btw anyone unfamiliar with this issue; CNN has been hyping up an edited version of this video saying that RP stormed out of the interview. Obviously after a game of telephone that metastasizes into Yodel saying he stormed out after being asked ONE question about it. This is simply factually incorrect; as the above video will easily show.

Thrax, mostly I would think your interests wouldn't be aligned with a candidate that is going to hand corporations and special interests another blank check for 4 years. Which outside of Ron Paul no one on the Republican ticket has any intention of curtailing the corporate teat sucking of the last 12 years. Likely many would increase the amount of teat sucking.

Now lets be clear I am not opposed to teat sucking, I just think it should be done by actual human individuals.

Maybe you have a more nuanced argument than anyone but Obama but you never seem to express it.

I've had my days of endless complaining about Obama and in the end most people say the President doesn't control the direction anyways, or that the Prez is more of a state figure than anything. I feel that the Presidency requires solid leadership and an ability to get others on-board with his ideas/ideals. In that example I think Obama has failed miserably time and again. I think Bush was better at selling his ideas than Obama is. They may not have all been good ideas, but he was able to sell his bullshit better than most. Clinton was an amazing bullshit salesman.

I think Obama scares the shit out of the business world in general and the cogs won't really begin to turn again till he's out of office. I don't think he's a bad guy or out to ruin my country, he's simply a shitty leader. He won the Presidency with smear tactics, he's run his Presidency with smear tactics, and he'll likely get re-elected with smear tactics. He's a community organizer....it's what he's good at.

If I had to endorse a GOP candidate right now it would probably be Ron Paul. I'm not a fanatic like deadcode, but he would get my vote with no problem.

I'm proudly a fanatic for individual rights. I just happen to believe that RP is the only candidate that can protect those rights.

On an unrelated note: John McCain has endorsed Romney; but do you remember this little gem from the last election? McCain vs Romney: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=IS33Hkgnls4

Shows how much credibility either of those men have.
