at 10:13 PM, Tuesday January 3, 2012 EST Looks like:
1. Romney 2. Santorum 3. Paul 49 more states to go. If this one is anything like the rest; it is gonna be a very close primary. |

(even excluding his unfortunate homonym) |

at 12:26 AM, Wednesday January 4, 2012 EST Well say what you want about him; but it isn't that surprising. Iowa has a strong evangelical community. Huckabee won last time; for instance.
I doubt Santorum has as good a showing as we move to other states; but its impossible to tell for sure. We will just have to wait and see. My hope is that Romney and Paul are able to distance themselves from the rest of the pack; setting it up for a long battle 1v1. I figured it is likely Romney gets 1st in NH and Paul gets 2nd. This would lead to a show down in future states. |
