I'm not sure what the standard is regarding avatars but this one is borderline porn and definitely not safe for work.

Of course the ones yelling in favor of censorship here (hahaha, freedom of speech, smd) mostly come from the USA. A prudish, Victorian attitude is not too rare there. Protect propagation of genocide symbols but forbid fully clothed girls barely touching each other. Are you real? |

at 8:50 AM, Thursday December 15, 2011 EST Wow, overreact much Louis Cypher? First of all, no one is yelling at all about this, except perhaps you are with the harsh tone in your post. Yes the US has cultural differences when it comes to nudity and sexuality compared with many other places but I'm not sure why that upsets you so much. Porn is still available and plentiful on and off the internet, I just don't see why these sexual images need to be on a site for gaming.
Regardless, maybe you didn't read my post saying that the image is not-safe-for-work and borderline porn. Why do I say that? Two tests. 1. Prime time TV test - would this scene fly on prime time TV in the US? - Probably not, too sexual. 2. The woody test - does it give a little tingle in the nether regions? - probably yes for most straight guys on here. I'm fine if the mods say these sort of avs are ok I'll just keep clicking them away when I'm sitting with these types of avatars. |

at 9:14 AM, Thursday December 15, 2011 EST This site is not hosted in the USA. The USA do not give the world standard on ethics or moral. Why do we have to adapt to their views all the time? Using a word formerly applied to disrespect colored people is forbidden, using images of the 20th century's biggest murderer is ok, showing fully clothed females barely touching each other is debatable.... But "freedom of speech" is so important.
This sucks. That's my point. |
