Request to change an avatar as it is very offensive.

http://kdice.com/profile/45097288 (PlusUltra) is using Adolf Hitler presenting the fascist greeting as his avatar. I'd like to request that this avatar is changed. A parrot moving on the stretched right arm does not make it much better. I could not find a mod being online, thus the request here.

"While the freedom of boneheadness country censors the n-word" Not sure what you mean by this. Saying "nigger" is not against the law in the US, unlike in Germany where denying the Holocaust gets you a jail sentence. Sorry Louis, but your country doesn't understand the first thing about human freedoms.

Louis; maybe you should think before calling me a bonehead. I've lost some respect.

Also; neither the n-word nor any other word is censured by the USA.

It's hard to take you serious if you use anecdotal evidence of one or two Americans as the basis of declaring that "Americans are boneheaded".

Particularly a person of your intellect should realize that your logic is no better then the logic used to say "All blacks are..." etc.

Since noone is adding anything to the topic, and even though i think this is a trolling attempt by Louis Cypher, i must add that i think its offensive. If the N-word gets you a ban, this picture of a guy attempted who genocide on european jews, should be banned too.
I dont think 400 years of slavery trumps 6 million deaths that much, but thats mainly because both of the ideas are unimaginable

The n-word is censored here. Censorship was demanded by Americans because of the historic load that word carries for them. These are the exact same people that come along with "freedom of speech" now to allow the use of symbols representing the largest massmurder of the 20th century.

I never claimed there was censorship anywhere outside this website or compared the US to Germany other than by the representatives speaking up here. And those are blind on all eyes but that concerning black Americans and the short history of America.
If you did not want to censor the n-word or would like to censor the use of Nazi-propaganda and wordings as well, you were not the intended recipient of my slight insult. It is true, I am trolling a bit, but not exclusively.

Jews have been murdered all over the planet for round about 2000 years for all sorts of bad reasons. Us did the last and worst shot in that direction with Adolf Hitler and the Hakenkreuz being the visible sign of this massmurder. Slaves in America are a bad but quite short episode in comparisson to the killing of that religious group (and America is not the only country having slaves). If you ban wordings from that short historic moment, be consequent in other cases.

Otherwise you'd have to decide that in some cases, there is no slave-related intention behind the n-word, it is not used in a harrassing way. It is ok then. And art or fun of the Nazis could be ok also (though I must confess I am not that humorous at that point most of the time). But then we would not have autobans on this site.

I don't think that likenesses of Hitler should be banned. Hitler, the man, may have repented at the last minute. The symbols of his philosophy, when used to uphold that philosophy, should be banned, but not if used in an attack upon that philosopy.. A parrot on an upraised arm seems to me to be a lampoon of the Nazi salute. Someone has an av of a fist smashing a swastika. I don't think that is bannable.

"Hitler, the man, may have repented at the last minute."

is really irrelevant, to everything IMO.

I agree that this seems more like making fun of hitler, than anything else that is why I said that I thought it was funny.

but since offence is taken, not given, there is not really an obvious objective standard to how much offence should be taken from anything.

the "n-Word", mohammed cartoons and the swastika is really all about how the people taking offence think.

personally, I don't like that people take offence. But I see that moderating offensive things might make this website less juvenile and more pleasant for most of its users.
