I guess my time has come. I played kdice for nearly 5 years but the actual kdice has nothing to do with the game i loved in former times. The post of @names_game is totally right. This cheating and other ones like i got points from a player so i could play on a higher table are the reason for leaving. The pga's on tables higher than 500 are another reason. I don't play kdice generally for points but for fun and exactly that fun is gone.
I had much fun here and there were many, many people who shared that fun with me. But i guess i am something like a dinosaur and i die off. I agree that cheating takes the fun out of the game. It is the act of betrayal and dishonesty that makes it feel so bad - the points you usually could spare. Playing the 500 is nice, but why would you play a competition where you know you can't win by skill. Why do people think they can behave like assholes just because it is a game? Show some honesty here as well. Act like you would act in real life. Obey the general golden rule, not only the kdice one. And for the latter, there will never be a replacement, just like there has never been a second Cleo. I'll keep hoping to see you back. |

MY REPLY: In real life I wouldn't be invading other peoples lands and taking it from them, I'd respect their borders. This isn't real life, it's a game, an escape from reality. Why do you crazy moralists try to impose YOUR view of how others should enjoy the game? You're like religious fundamentalists. If I want to backstab someone and tell them to stick to minesweeper, that's on me. If you prefer to play "honorable" then knock yourself out. |

I must disagree you. Why should a nice person in real life behave like an asshole in kdice? Only reason i can imagine is that (s)he is schizophrenic.
