And if you think the show is great for its plot, "believable" or "likeable" characters, then you are an utter moron.
If you wish to come in and defend this atrocity to zombie media, prepare for me to rip apart the show with specifics. And yes, I am a huge zombie fan and wanted to love this show |

at 3:38 PM, Saturday November 26, 2011 EST They have no competition. American Horror Story is the only other horror related show around.
I ignore all the unbelievable stuff, but what annoys me is that it seems like nothing much really happens in any of the recent episodes. They've been wandering around half-heartedly looking for this missing girl for how long now? Maybe it *is* actually realistic that in a real zombie infestation, mostly what you do is sit around hiding, but it certainly doesn't make for entertaining television. At least in the first season they were mostly on the move with an actual goal in mind, and thus a plot arc. But if we're discussing idiotic zombie invasion response, why doesn't anyone think of digging a ditch around the house, or in the woods, or just about anywhere? It's not like the zombies have shown any sort of ingenuity getting around barriers. Reinforced earthen walls were around at least since the Roman empire, and I have to imagine with the sea of cars around, there are bulldozers aplenty... |

And that's no way to approach television. |

at 8:29 AM, Tuesday November 29, 2011 EST Game of thrones was a fun read, I'd say the third book was my favorite, followed by the first.
The second book had a great last quarter to it, but the first three-fourths kinda dragged. Books 4 and 5 in the series were definitely weaker after the strong 3rd book. For TWD, I enjoyed when Shane said enough was enough and they all shot up the zombies, but that's about the only thing that made any sense across two seasons. |
