im writing a paper for my u.s. nat'l security class regarding my view of the prospects for success in Afghanistan (i think that our chances are low). i need to analyze problems caused by Pakistan connection and make recommendations for overcoming them where possible. also gotta consider domestic (afghanistan) issues.
so basically, how the U.S. can be successful in ousting al-Qaeda and/or establishing democracy, the problems and factors influencing this, and Pakistan's role in all of it. if any of you guys have some insight or good talking points regarding the war, i'd appreciate it as it would give me some good ideas to incorporate into my paper. |

Do not try to put goals in the mouths of the US, read what they said they set out to do, and then see how or if they accomplished those goals.

good advice, thanks chase and jp, i can't tell if you're being sarcastic or actually think i don't know what a scholarly article or an academic database is also if the JETS lose tonight and/or tebow gets more fantasy points than Sanchez i'll rock whatever avatar you guys choose until they win a game. |
