trilogy x9 hobbit x4 silm x3 everything else just once i hate on rowling/potter because thats what old ppl do to youngsters. i applaud her because she had a good idea of where the story was going before she wrote it all down, so the story is consistent. really, thats what tolkien achieved godlike status with: the man fucking created an entire world which was damn close to self-consistency. too many pretenders in the genre just write a couple books from a few general ideas, and then once they become successful, they start stretching it out too much, and the series eventually gets stupid (dune, imo). tolkien fuckin constructed an entire world before he wrote anything down. insanity. guess thats what gallipoli does to a man. |
