Especially considering that when these guys truce together most of the time it is a silent truce and they will often deny they are doing it when/if other people try to counter.

If you pretend not to have lists like that acting within your gameplay you are either not a frequent player or a dumb liar. This is the usual human behaviour that you know players you meet very often and you know which of those you tend to get along with and which you usually don't.

It describes what is often referred to as "old trusted friends" (otf) and is not perfect but not to avoid. This plus the fact that frequent players often read the map better than occasional ones makes it so hard to get into higher tables for newcomers.

It is far from pga where you will sit as a team unconditionally and have that fixed a priori.

maybe he is just more honest about being a human, which means you tend to favour some over others.

if you really read the rules strict, every single player that played a some games should be banned.

kudos to marsy for stating it, now his opponents doesn't have to memorize who marsy will truce often, he stated it right there.

everyone should make this list, cause if you don't have it, you are lying to yourself. (it might not be a permanent list, but people tend to truce people they truced last game)

im surprised das is on the top list and Gurgi is on the bottom. besides that, makes sense. the top list players tend to truce (esp to ppl claiming to have boobs), whereas the bottom list dont give a shit.

pretty much says these are my tendencies but it depends on the game. there are people I tend to truce when I play because I know I can trust them to not backstab, and people I will never truce because they're dickheads. everyone has these lists. +1 to mars for simply stating it outright.

Will this fucking community ever evolve from pretending that PGA tendencies are not within human nature. Will this community ever evolve to realize that while some people can play in an unbiased mode(like me), others are incapable or unwilling.

I rarely play this fucking game anymore because I gave up a long time ago trying to play in an unbiased mode up top.

Though the politics and friendships that occur 'up top' can keep you in the top 25, only the caballistic hardcore cheat fucks take the top 3 spots on a regular basis.

Some top medals have been won semi-honestly in the past. I say semi due to flagrant PGA which is inherent in the upper culture.

IMO, this fucking game is boring up top due to the politics. So if your looking to play a true strategy game based on positioning, luck & nudging opponents, look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you want politics, ass kissing, and dick sucking, play kdice at the higher levels.

When I want to play politics, I participate in real life. Playing politics on a flash game bores the fuck out of me.

but ive never quite understood mars. i always appreciated how he wrecks whomever he is neighbors with (there was a funny line das had about that). but recently my games with him are fucking annoying, because in situations where we should be trucing, he will always initiate the battle, no matter how hard i make it look like i am friendly. so instead of us working together, he is pgeing me for some reason. so we end up going 2/3. fucking annoying to have someone refuse to accept in game friendliness because he has you on a list as someone who fights you all the time.

last game he did that to me, i flagged to him with 100% meaning to stab later since he was dicking me. totally pissed him off, and i bet that was the nail in the coffin. i dont expect him to ever act reasonably towards me again, because he refuses to see things from my perspective. or to second guess his false assumptions about me. w/e.
