Someone with too many time and no social life should calculate how many points members they earn (or lose - lol) in member tourneys.

However, members support the existence of the game, they play more (and we too, to catch up) so more money for publicity, so we can be addicted for free.

I have a social life but not this Sunday night :(

and I had 5 minutes so here is my own Member Tourney track record for this month

that's 43285 points in 16 tourneys

if I substract the 8k buyin, that 35285 yields me a 2205 poins per tourney (btw, I really think Ryan should add a points per tourney stat for members : PPT)

so I think I will stay a member for now... but I do think member bonus needs some rethinking because it's obviously too easy to gain points there (even in the 10+ player ones)

btw, I think only DJ will have a PPT of around 2k maybe but most people will probaly gain something like a few 100 points per tourney so not everyoen benefits just as much as the few that do gain a lot there.

obviously the largest beneficiary of a broken system is not going to be pushing for it to be fixed - but when that person is the one put in charge of policing the system, everybody else gets fucked

jurgen your point whoring is not as important to this community as game integrity. if you get this fixed i think we can all agree you get a free 50,000 points every month for your troubles - everybody wins.

I don't think jurgen cheats as cheating on kdice is presently defined - however he is a part of the members tourney circle jerk crew and plays really really dumb about when other people are cheating and basically needs video, screenshots, signed affidavits, multiple witnesses and sperm samples to do anything about it, when all that is really required is some common sense.

If someone's a good cheater nobody would be any wiser to the fact that they had been cheated.

That being said, jurgen and the rest of the best friends forever members club tangibly hurt the competitive integrity of the game without question.

It is false to assume people don't know they are getting cheated just because it cannot be proven or because Jurgen and the cheaters claim it didn't take place.

We either need some new rules or some mods who are willing to apply common sense, ban a bunch of people (who will come back on new accounts but lose their treasured medals) and make it clear that this bullshit will stop.

It would take about a month and the games would be clean.
