as i already told everyone on the tournament table where the arguing took place: 1 day ban is fair, a week as the stricktest option, sooo... nicely written Jurgen.

i didnt appeal to him to unban at all, i only wrote this post after i saw he unbanned me.

Back in the day, when we would end up (more frequently) with an occasional island on a map, g00b decided it would be fun to just keep ending turn on the island, preventing the game from ending.

Ryan eventually showed up, after about fifteen minutes, and booted g00b from the game. No additional punishment after that.

If a mod was there and did not object, I think the ban should be lifted, and a new policy put in effect for future games. It will be pretty hard for players to know what to do if one mod is present and approves and others come in later and ban for the same thing.

Good points made by all. My only input is that people should use common sense. 99% of the time people would be somewhat upset if they had to wait around 20 minutes for a FIGHT to end in a tourney let alone two guys simply ending turns for kicks. A week may be a bit harsh, but as always, this is not my ban so I will not get involved. A rule should definitely be written to make this a little more clearer on punishment, but a punishment is justly deserved.

I also think a "rule" can prevent this from going out of control. Who cares if 2 people stall for a few minutes but it needs to be clear that bad intentions will be punished.

I am open for suggestions but I still think that what I wrote down is pretty balanced as far as allowing it/punishing it

The real question is whether or not you are impacting other players. If two people want to waste their own time, fine.

If they are blocking a table or holding up a tourney, then it's an issue.

What an excellent circle jerk, moderation at it's finest. Hope you get unbanned chase/wish, it's not unlike skrum or BR to jump the gun and make temperamental bans like this. Funny how neither of them have posted though despite all the other moderators disagreeing with their bans.
