Peyton Manning adds 6-8 wins to the Colts.....minimum
Eli Manning is horrible and should be embarrassed for comparing himself to his brother, and Brady, and Rodgers, and Brees, etc... The Ravens were my pick for the AFC crown going into week 1 and they didn't diappoint by spanking the Steelers. 7 turnovers on a sloppy day from Big Ben & Co. The Packers and Saints were entertaining on Thursday night and both look like offensive juggernauts. We could see them again in the NFC Championship game. The Cowboys blew the biggest 4th quarter lead in team history and Sanchez looked pretty damn good last night. The Cowboys could be good, but like the Giants, mistakes and turnovers could be their demise. Tampa Bay came into the season on a high and no longer the underdog! Then they lost to the much improved Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford was solid and will be all season. My Redskins got a W against their nemisis the New York Giants. Rex Grossman was solid and interception free. The Skins stayed dedicated to the run despite little success moving it on the ground. The defense was stout, recorded 4 sacks, scored a touchdown, and shoutout Eli and the G-men in the second half. The Eagles started slow, but a Steven Jackson injury made it a little easier and the offense looked great by the end of the game. The jury is still out on whether these new look Eagles will jell by the end of the season, but they looked good in Week 1. Tonight my other fave in the AFC will get an easy W......the New England Patriots. AFC Championship New England vs Baltimore NFC Championship Green Bay vs Philadelphia Super Bowl Baltimore vs Green Bay Champion Green Bay |

at 11:36 AM, Monday September 12, 2011 EDT great great observations about week 1 on grantland today:
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/6960563/upon-initial-review-week-1 cliffs: DET over TB wasnt even close, DET smothered them. CHI win over ATL had a lot of luck involved. PIT loss to BAL was insanely unlucky (but prob wouldve happened anyway with 50/50 luck) sanchez was godawful in the 4th quarter, but romo decided to be godawfuler. personal addition: stephen jacksons backup looked p good i thought, somebody williams? |

at 12:00 PM, Monday September 12, 2011 EDT its cadillac monte.
once again romo proved he blows ass in close games. lions are a contender if stafford can stay healthy (that or the bucs got really lucky last year) cam newton was a whole lot better than i thought he would be, and the cardinals defense was just as bad as i thought it would be. along that same vien, the panthers might have a chance to win the NFC south now that bradford/jackson are banged up and the rest of the division was just as bad as they were last year. Chicago reminded people that they did have the second best record in the NFC last year. Buffalo could turn a lot of heads, and the Chiefs season last year looks like a fluke. on a more exciting note, HELL YEAH THE TEXANS ARE GOING TO WIN THE DIVISION |

at 12:26 PM, Monday September 12, 2011 EDT I love everyone counting out the Bears as old, or not good enough, especially considering we won our division last year. We destroyed the falcons, who had NO offensive touchdowns, the only reason they had so many points was a tipped pass returned for a td when the game was already over.

at 12:39 PM, Monday September 12, 2011 EDT Sanchez manages games pretty well. He doesn't usually blow up the stats page, but he also doesn't lose the game for his team very often.
Romo on the other hand... |

I thought of a great slogan for my team: LIONS 2011: Cuz Fuck You. |
