im confused.
in the midst of mad cramming for my boards this week, i left my wallet+keys+cell in a bathroom stall when i was changing into work clothes. yes, im an idiot like that. anyways, closely monitored amex and visa accts online, zero transactions since i lost my wallet. closely monitored verizonwireless, zero activity since i lost it. so i assumed that a good person must have found them and turned them into lost+found. checked with the lost+found office this morning: nada. checked with all the local security, no one knew of a wallet+keys+cell being turned in. so why would someone find my stuff, take it, but then not use it? theories? btw, im going through with cancelling all cards and getting replacement phone and other important stuff. so annoying. |

at 1:18 AM, Sunday September 4, 2011 EDT also you're a fool. the "low lsat" column in those listings you link to refers to the 25th percentile of admitted students. how could you not know that?

at 2:10 AM, Sunday September 4, 2011 EDT you're right boog. I didn't notice that by 'low' score it didn't actually mean 'low' score but low quartile. The 168 actually only puts him at the 97th percentile in the nation and not in the 99th percentile.. but anyone who knows greekboi knows that he isn't one of the top 3% of all incoming law students in all law schools including students coming out of ivy league schools... he's just not. I've had chats with this kid. He spent undergrad drunk and picking fights in bars and getting bad grades, he's not the type to just roll casually into an lsat test without ever practicing and come out the top 3% in the nation.. but he is good at making up complete bullshit, so kudos to him on that.

at 2:15 AM, Sunday September 4, 2011 EDT meh standardized test scores don't mean much, except that you are good at standardized tests. its a pity law schools weigh the lsat so heavily in admissions.

Only people bad at standardized tests say this. Note, this is coming from boogy an art student or art history major I forgot. Both are equally useless though. |

at 9:53 AM, Sunday September 4, 2011 EDT oh hi veta,
i'm fortunate to score well on standardized tests; i'm just not arrogant enough to think i'm smarter than those who don't have that particular skill and fyi my masters is in art history from columbia. |

at 1:44 PM, Sunday September 4, 2011 EDT Also its not arrogance - these standardized tests are correlated with data that suggests better scores will indicate a better student. It's the only measure they have to go by, and since you go to colombia and probably needed somewhat decent standardized test scores to get in (as that is a prequisite) is your university arrogant for thinking the same?
I bet your arrogant university hates gays too... Typical. (that's me making fun of you boogy in a tongue in cheek manner) |
