Irene was a pussy hurricane. I don't want to hear about your power being out for a couple of days. I think mine was out for 2+ weeks when Wilma hit South Florida. Hell when we had the wind storms this past spring here, I lost power for 3 days, so a couple of days without power isn't going to hurt anyone.

When Isabel came through back in 2003 my parents lost power for almost 3 weeks. So yeah, this is weak in comparison.

So, CNN got the summer break filled with some stupid hype of a moderate storm.

Even that moderate wind was able to present the state of non-construction of US eastcost power supply. Up to here - no surprises.

It has everything to do with KDice. Many of the players that play this game live on the east coast of the United States. The storm was bound to have an effect on these players. You do realize that this game exists because people come here and play it, right Louis? Without people playing, Ryan would close up shop and disable the site.

If every thread in this forum was about PGA, somebody using a racial/sexist/homophobic slur, or somebody complaining about their luck, then this place would be VERY fucking boring.
