I do not mean to criticize you as a mod at all, but i have a question to ask you.

I can undertsand that you ban everythin only for a forum post, you have explained this quite well, but why is it that you don't give the same bans for everyone?

What i mean is you banned taco -play -chat -post where with yellowfin, who did the same thing as taco which is posting in a ''locked thread'', you did only a -post?

I am totally right with you enforcing whatever rules you seem fit, but at least make it the same rules for everyone.

@ ji-jo: I did -post fin, along with several others. I also subsequently +posted them. The issue with Pink/CCSKAOT's account was that the IP in question had already been banned by Jurgen. If an IP is banned and then the same IP commits more offenses, it should be, and will be, subjected to a harsher level of discipline than an IP that is guilty of a single offense. That is the rationale I used in enforcing the temporary ban.

Yes. One IP = multiple alts. Since we are not able to determine whether or not multiple people are using a single IP, the presumption will be that one IP = one person. And that IP (and any accounts associated with it) will be the target of discipline. It is really an extremely simple concept that has been stated previously.

Hopefully your neighbor doesn't kick your ass for you getting him/her banned.
