Anything less is an injustice to the innocent blood he spilt. Of course, MRK disagreed with the killing of Bin Laden by an American SEAL team. Let's see how he feels about a terrorist that hit a little closer to home. p.s. I'm in no way mocking this tragedy MRK. I just disagree with a trial for someone that so blatantly murdered so many people. There is no evidence to process. There is no reason to go before a judge. There should be ZERO stories in the news making this man more and more famous. Every second that man is alive is an atrocity to humanity. Just kill the mother fucker. Preferably in the above way described. My $.02 |

I will also disagree that brevik should be executed. but the american media is missinformed. the maximum penalty for regular crimes is 21 years. there is a law that says you can get 30 years for crimes against humanity, which brevik will certainly be tried for. and if you get convicted for crimes against humanity you will be reviewed after 30 years, and if you fail your review you get 5 years extra, then after 5 years, you get a new review.... etc. these reviews are based on if you are concidered a danger to society. and brevik will certainly fail these reviews and be in prison until the day he dies. also, to be honest thraxle, I would kill this bastard myself if I got in a room with him, but I am on the other hand happy with the norwegian justice system, justice is not about revenge. one reason for having a trail is to show that terrorists can't rook the norwegian liberties, deomcracy and justice by attacking. in norway, we have responded saying "he shall not be able to change us, if he does, he will have won" so, almost all people in norway will probably vote this election. our prime ministers first response was that terrorism should be met with more freedom of speech and more democracy. on a recent vote, of the question "what do you like best about norway?" among the top answers were "that our politicians responded calming, not agitation after the tragity" "social mobility" "justice system" "police not carrying weapons" "our top politicans walking around without any security" so for you monte, most norwegians probably want him tortured to death, but they also want a justice system that doest not take their personal feelings of wanting revenge into account. so when they think twice, they want him to be in prison for life, within the confines of the law. |

at 7:52 AM, Tuesday August 2, 2011 EDT while i can understand the urge for revenge on this despicable human being, i do not believe that killing him serves the matter more justice. of course that man does not deserve to live in my opinion, but no human should be the judge of that. Let me quote Gandalf: "Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo?"
I'm deeply impressed how the norwegian people deal with this tragedy. They are taking the high road. All the way. |
