This is dedicated to all you self proclaimed conscientious patriots, We want to get this straight.

You didn’t get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.

You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.

You didn’t get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.

You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.

You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.

You didn’t get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.

You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.

You didn’t get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib photos.

You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.

You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city drown.

You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.

You finally got mad when.. when… wait for it… when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all ok with you but helping other Americans… well fuck that. That about right? You know it is.

You people have all lost your fucking minds. You are selfish, greedy, obnoxious, narcissistic, and frankly… stupid. Your pathetic little misspelled protest signs are embarrassing. Maybe you ought to find the smart person in your midst and let them make up all the signs, cause man, you look like a bunch of idiots. Also you’re ugly and your mother dresses you funny.

>>You didn't get mad when you elected a President that doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to stand up for what he campaigned on.

He did and does, he simply doesn't have the power to do a lot of it. He isn't a bully pulpit type president - he's more of a tippy canoe type president (focuses on legislature).

>>You didn't get mad when he continued many of the policies that his predecessor instated.

Once again I doubt this is because he wanted to, and this is something you should recognize as an intelligent (or so I thought) person. I doubt he wanted to continue a lot of bush's fuck ups.

>>You didn't get mad when the the deficit continued to spiral out of control to the record level it's at now.

Every year it's at a record level dummy. That's a function of inflation. If you adjust for inflation it's nowhere near what it was after WW2.

>>You didn't get mad when the unemployment mark went above (and has stayed above) the 8% level that Obama promised it would remain below.

When did he promise this? http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2010/jul/13/george-will/will-obama-said-stimulus-would-cap-unemployment-8-/

>>You didn't get mad when Obama didn't end the wars in the Middle East.

Once again, I doubt this is something that he consciously wanted to do. The president simply isn't a dictator and as much as I would want the Platonic Philosopher King to rule us, that's not what the presidency is. We're in those wars today because of the circumstances bush's administration left them in. You should be smart enough to recognize that.

>>You didn't get mad when Guantanamo wasn't shut down.

He tried, more than I can say about Bush and his cronies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guantanamo_Bay_detention_camp#Obama.27s_plan_to_close_the_camps

>>You didn't get mad when the Bush tax cuts remained in effect.

Once again, he had to choose his battles. Keep the tax cuts for the wealthy greedy republicans or no tax cuts at all for the poor and middle class (is there even a middle class anymore)?

>>Actually, most of you guys probably did get mad at the above items, yet for some strange reason you still support the man.

His plan for America is still the most concise and of any candidate out there. He still holds more of my values than any other candidate.

>>I'm all for giving universal health care if there's a decent way to pay for it. Trying to pay for it during the worst recession since the Great Depression, all while not cutting spending anywhere else, was not the right time or way to do it. Find a way to pay for it and it's yours. Otherwise, shut the fuck up.

Most universal healthcare institutions were passed during the worst recessions of a nation's history (in the western world anyway). It's because it's fucking cheaper to have national healthcare than to have a middleman make profits off every doctor's visit or lack there of. So yes we should get universal healthcare NOW because it's fucking cheaper for the country. Especially now.

Damn Rob, guess who spends the most of healthcare (which is shittier than what you get in Cuba: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHO%27s_ranking_of_health_care_systems

US.

she might have not pulled out of iraq, and not let europe run the show in libya. while continuing to alienate the world and probably not done anything more to cut the deficit

his daddy's friends in the supreme court had it hooked up. plus if it came down to a vote in the senate/congress bush would've won. Bush's fucking brother controlled the state in question so there was no way votes in gore's favor weren't accidentally going to disappear. No it was over for gore.

Why do you self rightous hypocrites get all mad at the Abu Grab pictures, but turn a blind eye to the Afganastan "kill team".

OMG you would of thunk Bush himself took those pictures, but Obama is free and clear. Where was the media frenzy??? where was the moral outrage from the left????

and as far as the other ones (that are actually true) i did get mad, but YOU being the one who actually sterotypes people, well you know me best (tongue in cheek)

Mrk: "... it is up to the politicians and the economists to decide ... most agree that social cooperation is important and that the society should take care of its weakest."

It's kinda 1984ish to hear "social cooperation" used to describe laws that mandate labor and the purchase of specific products at the threat of jail and fines.

How charitable of you to force everyone to do your "good deed" that you are unable to provide yourself. You must be proud of your huge heart...

"......... laws that mandate labor and the purchase of specific products at the threat of jail and fines. "

that is really not how it is, as a norwegian I am free to have my own healthcare insurance and I am free to use any private hospital I want if should care to. I am free to chose any private doctor that have time for me, and he/she will get paid by the state to see me. I am free to use any product that is legal and my doctor is free to choose which ones to recomend, and in the rare cases those are not covered I just have to pay the full price for them.

I really do not understand where you get the idea that there are jailtime and fines involved, if anyone told you that, they were lying!
