I so agree with Monte here.

No offence to Rowdy or Sam since they also do a great job: when they are online or playing, people behave more in those games or tournies.

So let's say 3 active (ish) mods. But that's far from enough. Kdice does not need to become a police state with 50 uncontrollable mods but we definitely need more people to share the workload.

The moment I log on, people come with questions, complaints, reports, stuff that Ryan should handle cuz we can't, you name it.

So what's the result now: I play my alts or I just watch games as offline. And most of all, I just don't Kdice at all.

There aren't many good signs from Ryan that he plans to make extra mod tools (ip bans, limited point edit capabilites, blocked tourney fixes etc) or add new game features OR appoint extra mods. I have some spare time that I would be willing to invest on modding again but only if I see an improvement in any of these areas.

Yodel case is simple. As long as we can't IP ban, I think he will be here. That's fine by me. If he behaves, he is actually OK and certainly not worse than many other people with a big mouth here on KDice. But it's not worth wasting time on. No more warnigns either. People can report his insulting stuff whenever they feel, Yodel knows where the limits are (if not, his problem). If I see things I don't like, his main and any account I see fit will be banned immediately for the time I see fit.

So why not make a mod sign up thread, have all the current mods vote on the people who sign up and if its majority make them a mod?

it would be a pretty much to the point review imo.
And wether he should/could play here is not up to the reviewer, and i assume people have the reading ability.
