These are both acc's owned by the same person no?
So it's either acc sharing or proxying. Either of which are bannable offenses. Not to mention the blatant pga that got another player to suspect that something was up as well. http://i.imgur.com/CmoPQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zYElr.jpg Lets see what the excuse is... |

at 2:52 PM, Saturday July 2, 2011 EDT Yea I asked Thrax that day what the punishment was for pga, sharing, and proxying.
I admit I proxied, I wanted to try it, not to gain points. And like Jurgen said, I did it with two very obvious alts. 1st offense so nbd for me, idc whether they get unbanned either. |

at 3:51 PM, Saturday July 2, 2011 EDT mains have been banned for cheating on mains. in the past, mains have been banned for cheating on alts. fack got banned for sharing an account. kostur got banned for PGAs. fatman is the same on all his accounts- and earned the bans on each account.

at 3:59 PM, Saturday July 2, 2011 EDT I think it was a good idea from Thrax to make standard punishments like 1d - 7d - 30d - perma for offense X etc
However it's hard to always go back to the standard ban durations. Every case has a history of the players involved, a degree of certainty about being an offense, a number of times something occurred, etc The key is trying to be consistent as much as possible and the punishment should basically fit the crime Therefor some flexibility is needed and Yodel can claim the opposite, I try to be fair and find the appropriate action for something, regardless of how well I know someone or how much I like/dislike them. Trust me, it's usually not easy and there will always be criticism, whatever action you take or don't take. shared accounts don't always get permabanned by me, it depends of the gravity of the sharing and the previous history of the people involved. When boogy used on of Clarke's alts, I did not ban Clarke at all. Sometimes I ban both mains. I ban mains for any offense if I feel like banning the account involved only is way too light as punishment for the account sharer. If I wouldn't some of those banned people would simply laugh behind my back because the penalty didn't hurt at all. The aim is to change behavior and to show others with similar ideas what could happen if they get caught. The solution is simple: nobody cheats, proxies, pgas, harasses, stalks, makes racist or homophobic comments and there are no discussions about this anymore. In this utopic Kworld, I think there would even be a room for account sharing as long as it would not influence any top25 medal. |

at 5:57 PM, Saturday July 2, 2011 EDT I guess I should have taken screen shots of him begging me to post the evidence. He didn't care at all because he knew you were going to ban him for what. One whole day on 2 of his alts?
I don't think you understand your own position of influence at all here jurgen. |
