mine is 87, very happy with getting 87
because my IQ is so high, people should just assume I am correct in EVERYTHING I say. |

at 1:33 PM, Tuesday June 28, 2011 EDT ya, with an IQ of 168, I almost dropped out
but with my IQ of 110, I fit perfectly into the norwegian classroom but for real, my IQ is 101 one of the reasons they split between EQ and IQ, is not that high IQ directly is a cost to EQ. But the theory is that children with an IQ of 140+ are too smart to have a functioning conversation with kids their age, so naturally they become loners (or nerds), so they then start to lag in the development of EQ. they just don't have enough friends to practice social skills. oh, and my IQ is 128 |

at 1:40 PM, Tuesday June 28, 2011 EDT yeah i think IQ tests are useful...but in the event you perform poorly on an IQ test, by no means does that indicate you are not intelligent. Perhaps your strength is social interaction, and/or being able to solve puzzles or something.
IMO everyone has some form of intelligence and if you make a 92 on an IQ test, Don't worry about it. Your kdice IQ is like 192 or whatever |

at 2:27 PM, Tuesday June 28, 2011 EDT My iq score from elementary school (to get into gifted and talented) was 144. I thought about taking the one for Mensa a few times since you only need 139 to get in and it's something you can put on a resume.
I agree on that bit about being estranged from your dumber peers. I got lucky in that my best friend growing up was just as smart as me... And that he had an older brother with a lot of friends we'd hang out with. Generally I act way dumber than I am in real life to get along with people. |

at 4:07 PM, Tuesday June 28, 2011 EDT my GT class was a little different, they took out the group of like 20-somethign kids that scored high on their IQ tests, and put them in the same class. the classroom was designed to give us as much mental elbow-room as possible with logic puzzles, increased rigor to keep us on task, but we still weren't completely segregated from the rest of the grade, we would share recess, music and theatre with the other kids.

not afraid... you know how everyone is a 130-160 IQ on the internett? at least according to themselves. whenever I see anyone post a score higher than 140, I automatically think "what a douche, I don't believe him". in many forums, people post an IQ for themselves, often to seem smarter. I would never ask anyone to judge me on my IQ score, you can judge how smart I am based on my words, (you can judge my maturity and security too based on my words) and that informations should suffice, and my IQ is 79 |
