"I am in the top 2% and a friend of mine that is much smarter than me is in the to 1%, and we both agree,......... blablabla we are correct because we are smart" 87 is just the number I picked at random, I would not present my actual score in a thread like this, because it has no purpose. IMO IQ score is not something to brag about, on the other hand it IS useful for determining what to do with children that are struggeling in school. it is a known problem that children with exeptional high IQs have an exeptional high rate of highschool dropouts. oh, and my real IQ is 92!!!! |

at 12:33 PM, Tuesday June 28, 2011 EDT In all seriousness though; IQ is so silly; When I was growing up; they made the whole school take an IQ test. The high scorers got accepted into an extra-curricular class called G&T (Gifted and talented).
G&T was complete crap. Basically you gave up your lunch period for a class that gave extra homework (always research reports on "save the rainforest" or some other bull). That was the complete usage of IQ in high school. Wow thank god for that test; all those poor students would have been high school dropouts if not for those extra research reports. In fact; G&T started with 20 or so people; ended up with 5 or 6; because everyone dropped it. Complete waste of money. Disclosure: I went to a high school in Bergan County, NJ. |
