at 1:40 PM, Thursday June 23, 2011 EDT yah good idea to move dominance to intermediate.
and would be nice if sam would volunteer to help with the loose/tight section. or at least someone who grasps the idea of trying a -1 roll in early stages with realization that if it wins, itll probably result in a 1st. thats something that even a lot of top players dont grasp (including myself a lot of times) |

at 1:48 PM, Thursday June 23, 2011 EDT Yeah that was exactly the example i was going to use. Also it is better to play loose as you start losing in the 1v1 8stack battle. Try to make the other person play looser so that they make mistakes and are forced to take bigger risks.

at 2:41 PM, Thursday June 23, 2011 EDT imo a lot 'advanced topics' are too subtle to actually teach anyone... and most of it has to do with the actual people. "advanced" board reading involves so much who exactly is sitting at the table. silent trucing is important though.
next month I'm gonna figure out the math of how dom works. |

at 3:11 PM, Thursday June 23, 2011 EDT @Chase and Everyone else,
I started a collection on Google Docs. https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B8Xhuhl2wi-rZjA0ODhkNDgtYzU4Ni00Njc3LTlkMjgtZmM5ZTQyN2M5ZGFi&hl=en_US It is viewable by everyone; but only editable by a select group of people. If you would like to be on this list please let me know. I'm probably going to purchase a 20-50 gigabyte limit so that people can upload videos, screenshots, graphics, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. The rough plan for the project is: 1. Brainstorm topics. 2. Consolidate and finalize topics. 3. Delegate topics to experts and volunteers. 4. Assemble finished topics into a cohesive tutorial. Anyone can participate; we especially need people who have expertise in specific topics and/or the ability to devote some time producing something of value towards the project (ie. videos, graphics, presentations, etc). |
