I think the biggest shame here is that he killed someone else.

If he was over the legal limit then he really is a Jackass and shouldn't be missed.

Yeah, if the rumors are true and he was doing 110 while intoxicated, then I can only be thankful that he earned his own personal Darwin award and that the only other person killed was the equally idiotic individual in the car with him.

luckily enough some of us don't always reap the negative consequences of some of the stupid things we do.
It's sad that lives are lost and it could've been prevented; doesn't give you the right to be condescending and talk crap about him;

that's someone's relative and someone's friend.

travis that in itself is a little disrespectful. you think the family of the "friend" agrees with you? let me list the assumptions involved:

1) they approved of this friendship with the jackass actor/character.
2) they approve of this friendship so much that they wouldnt mind if that friend took a gun, pointed it at the guy, and blew his head off.
3) they dont see drunk driving homicide of their son as the same thing as gun-inflicted homocide of their son.

now, granted, there are SOME situations where these assumptions hold true. but in the majority they do not.

so please dont be so insensitive travis.

im not saying lets rush to judge this guy who probably caused the slaughter. but lets not also rush to exonerate him.

for now, lets just be sad, and withhold our judgment until we have enough facts to make a righteous judgment that is not swayed blindly by emotion.

Take your self-righteous indignation and place it where it will not be visible. As someone who has lost a friend to a drunk driver, I can say with no shame whatsoever that I am not one bit sad that this jackass killed himself. You try hearing that one of your close friends has been killed and that his son is seriously maimed because some worthless piece of crap failed to exercise even a bit of self-control and committed vehicular homicide and then tell me that the sorry piece of !@#$ is deserving of compassion.

I am not happy that a human being is dead, but I do rejoice that a deadly menace to the lives of innocent people has been taken out of the equation. Like I said before, this guy apparently earned his Darwin award through his own efforts and I will not bemoan the fact that his genes have been forcibly removed from the pool.
