All jokes aside about Android vs iOS. Android is trending to beat iOS. So is Microsoft with Nokia deal.

For those of you that understand and follow this industry; distribution and manufacturing speed is the key to this market.

Also open platform vs close platform works in Microsoft / Google's advantage.

I'd say in 5 years Google is 1st, Microsoft is close 2nd, Apple is 3rd.

That's my take on the market.

I use iphone and ipad, and don't have any plans to change--I don't really feel like re-buying all my apps. I've already done that coming from Windows Mobile, and Palm OS before that, and I don't really see how Android is any big "game changing" advantage.

My #1 favorite app is Catan (with the expansion) if you like Settlers, this app is totally worth the $10 (for the app and expansion)

PS. I am on AT&T (no verzion or sprint at my house), so Android or iOS or MS Phone, doesn't matter all just as closed. Jailbreak is your friend.

imo gemcraft would be a terrible game for bathroom breaks, and I've heard the iphone version isn't very good (I'm ~level 2000 in Labyrinth).
