I didn't vote for him!

Shouldn't congressmen be smart enough to know you can't pick up young boys via twitter; without picking up national attention. Even if he was hacked; still hilarious and deserved.

In other news; DOW -200; GOLD UP; Jobs Down; QE3 Coming soon;

Anyone watch much of the Republican New Hampshire debate?

Bachmann is so stealing all of Palin's thunder, never thought Bachmann could ever come off as anything other than a nitwit.

Yeah I watched basically the whole thing. Missed a bit in the beginning.

Michele, Pawlenty, and Santorum all scare me because of them being social conservatives.

Gingrich scares me because he strikes me as a populist more then a principled guy; and quite frankly some of his ideas are complete stupid and unconstitutional in my view.

Cain is an unknown and completely new to politics and it shows in his inexperience in debating.

Ron Paul was great; liked and agreed with all his answers.

That's my takeaway/opinion from the debate.

Pawlenty is a toolbag with a crooked nose, I feel pretty good judging that book by its cover.

Bachmann is what everyone thought Palin was, except Bachmann can actually be coached. I weep that she is in congress though, she is pretty fucking looney.

Santorum, http://en.wikipedia.orgwiki/santorum_(neologism), yeah fuck that guy.

Paul is just too looney of an old man, sorry just not the horse to back or the face and voice you want of the libertarian right.

No I totally agree with you. Its unfortunate. Ron Paul is a smart guy and an admirable person; but the guys is just not charismatic enough it seems.

Hopefully libertarians will find a leader that is more charismatic.

I don't think the chances of a libertarian capturing the hearts and minds of America are very high. Honestly hardline libertarians tend to be a rather stoic group in general as they don't have the loving hearts of liberals towards the underclass or the Machiavellian desire to manipulate government for their own personal financial gain like the neo-cons.

Also I don't think Newt is that much of a populist as much as he is a true Reagan Republican, which is far different than the hagiography of Reagan that the neo-cons have crafted.

I definitely do not agree with that sentiment. I think libertarians are growing in power at the moment. They don't have a majority in the republican party for sure; but they do control a large enough voting block to wield a significant influence on the party and this voting block is increasing.

As far as Gingrich goes; maybe I need to research more about the guy; but his hypocritical actions during the clinton impeachment; his support for environmental regulations; and his handling of this whole Paul Ryan budget debacle; have jaded my impression of him.
